PIXSpain is the Spanish Competence Center for Integrated Photonics, acting as a facilitator and single-entry point to the Spanish and European photonics ecosystem.
We support companies, startups, research organizations and public institutions by understanding their challenges and connecting them with the right technologies, experts, infrastructures, funding opportunities and collaborative networks.

Accelerating PIC Innovation
PIXSpain facilitates access to the infrastructures needed to develop and validate photonic integrated circuits. By connecting organizations with the European Design Platform, pilot lines and other leading photonics facilities, we help accelerate the journey from innovative ideas to market-ready solutions.
Strengthening the Spanish Photonics Ecosystem within Europe
PIXSpain is fully integrated into the European Network of Chips Competence Centres (ENCCC) and closely linked to the PIXEurope Pilot Line. This strategic position strengthens the Spanish photonics ecosystem by connecting national stakeholders with leading European infrastructures, capabilities, and collaboration opportunities within the Chips for Europe Initiative.
